Redwood sausages, sizzled in frying pan in a little oil. Potatoes cooked and mashed with a little marg and soya milk and black pepper. Green beans gently steamed until still slightly crunchy.

All this topped off with lashings of bisto. The perfect autumnal comfort food, but it isn’t really that autumnal at the moment, is it?
